"My Son along with 16 others pax purchased a luxury tour package for Amarnath. Facilities received in tour were awful. Houseboat experience was worse. Hotels provided were below average and far off from city center. Hygiene was poor at houseboat and package included food was sufficient to make you ill."

"Purchased Amarnath Luxury Tour package with chopper from Angelic Holidays. Despite knowing that chopper same day return is impossible for a group of 17 pax, agent did not recommend us for two days stoppage for yatra. Instead agent charged for a night at Srinagar, which we could not avail as same day return is not possible. Vehicles are not allowed from Sonamarg to Srinagar after 3:30 PM due to security reasons. House boat booked were third class with poor amenities and fixtures and had very serious hygiene issues. The luxury priced package was nowhere near luxury. One suggestion: Please do not trust blindfold on agents, do all cross-checks, whether itinerary suggested by agent is possible and get hotels fixed before making any payments."
